'The World is Spinning Around' New album art for 'Daughter' album 'Not to Disappear' Jan 2016 - Prints available

Two paintings selected for Daughter album art

A few months ago I received an email out of the blue from a band's management - at the time the band's management wouldn't tell me who the band were , but they told me the band were fans of my work and could they run a wee proposal past me - Well, the wee proposal turned out to be 'can we use your work for our album art' and the band turned out to be 4AD's Daughter

It's all been a bit top secret, but the secret is now out! The band have chosen one of my paintings for the album cover - which is to be also used in their promo materials, videos and, very excitingly, as the backdrop for their world tour next year! Another more figurative painting features on the inner lining of the album

Major thanks due to Nyle Whittaker at Harwood King-Fine Arts for taking a superb picture of this, horrendous to photograph, painting. New limited edition print is in the pipeline courtesy of the talented Vaughan Williams and Andy Gibson at Tin Dogs Fine Art, Brighton and available here on my website - please just drop me a line if you'd like to enquire about a print.
